The Parsonage is a newly remodeled home that has been furnished in a modern retro style. This wonderful home offers a peaceful getaway for a family or two couples who want the convenience of spending private time together. The home is beautifully decorated and has a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Enjoy eating your home cooked meals in the dining room or at the kitchen bar. The living room offers a comfortable sitting area and a smart television with a fire stick. There are two spacious bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with a queen size bed. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and a flat screen television with a fire stick. The home has one and a half baths offering a large walk-in shower. For your convenience we also offer laundry facilities and free high-speed Wi-Fi.

Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while sitting in the sunroom, or enjoy the outdoors while sitting on the back deck. The backyard garden is shared with the owners’ home and offers a multitude of flowers and flora to enjoy. This home is also located in the heart of Mt. Carmel and less than two blocks from Market Street where you can watch the 4th of July and Christmas parades, enjoy the rides, games and entertainment of Ag Days, partake in the festivities of Christmas Uptown, or explore the shops. Whether you are in town for Mt. Carmel High School graduation, sporting events, or to watch the spectacular firework display on July 4th, you will enjoy the short 3 block stroll to the high school. The Wabash and White rivers converge less than a mile down the road. If you bring your own boat there is even a public boat ramp offering access to the Wabash River.

The Parsonage is located just around the corner from the Swift Sanctuary. This home is called the Parsonage, because it was once the parsonage to the 100-year-old church that is now the Swift’s residence. The owners Stacey and Devan Swift live in the historic church that is located on the corner, between the two homes. They’re close by if you need directions or help with anything. For your convenience there is a coded key pad lock on the side door, which is located right next to the parking area.
