Swift Sanctuary

We are in the heart of Mt. Carmel and less than two blocks from Market Street where you can watch the 4th of July and Christmas parades, enjoy the rides, games and entertainment of Ag Days, partake in the festivities of Christmas Uptown, or explore the shops, Whether you are in town for Mt. Carmel High School graduation, sporting events, or to watch the spectacular firework display on July 4th, you will enjoy the short 3 block stroll to the high school. The Wabash and White rivers converge less than a mile down the road. If you bring your own boat there is even a public boat ramp offering access to the Wabash River.

The Swift Sanctuary offers a peaceful getaway for a family or two couples who want the convenience of spending private time together in a luxurious historic home. The home is beautifully decorated and has a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and state of the art appliances. Enjoy eating your home cooked meals in the comfortable dining room. The living room offers two sitting areas and a smart tv with a firestick. There are two spacious bedrooms with king size beds, ceiling fans and a shared bath. Enjoy the outdoor time on the wrap around front porch overlooking the historic brick streets. Relax on the porch rockers and kick back to a game of checkers. The backyard garden offers a multitude of flowers and flora to enjoy. The covered patio has an outdoor dining and sitting area and a grill is provided for your dining pleasure. Enjoy a game of bocce balls in the back yard or hop on the bikes and explore the town. You might even discover one of the towns many restaurants which serve a variety of tasty food.

For your convenience we offer laundry facilities, smart TVs in the living room and both bedrooms, and free Wi-Fi. The owners Stacey and Devan Swift made their home in the historic church that is located right next door. They are close by if you need directions or help with anything. There is a coded key pad lock on the front door to ensure privacy for those who know their way around town. The Swifts hope you will plan to stay in the Swift Sanctuary the next time you’re in Mt.
